We are currently seeking passionate Technical Support Engineer who enjoy the challenge of applying their skills in the following areas:

• Monitoring and maintaining the customer SLA contracts
• Troubleshooting problems reported by customers, analyze and isolate issues
• Evaluating and improving systems performance
• Providing support for generic internal IT tasks (computers, printers, switches, firewalls, phones, software deployment, security updates and patches)
• Maintaining file servers, VPN gateways, application servers, Web servers etc.
• Documenting the configuration of systems deployed/installed/configured
• Database management (installation/configuration/troubleshooting/administration of Oracle infrastructures)
• Maintaining internal development and test environments
• Working closely with 1st line support and development teams
• Proactive knowledge sharing is very important at ABS. Good communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders is vital and we expect technical mentoring for all specialists
• A strong Computer Science background
• Good understanding of Microsoft Windows Network Infrastructures
• Experience in administration of virtual environments such as VMWare
• Basic understanding of Linux operating systems
• Experience with databases (Oracle DB)
• Solid grasp of SQL/Oracle and shell scripting
• Hardware troubleshooting with desktop and server systems
• Jira, Confluence
